Ibadah Division Leadership Update

We congratulate Dr Rosyid Jazuli on the successful completion of his viva at University College London, achieved with only minor corrections – an important milestone reached through patience, perseverance, and sincere service. As Dr Rosyid returns home to Indonesia to continue his journey, the Indonesian Islamic Centre London expresses its deep gratitude for his contributions during his time as Deputy Head of the Ibadah (Worhsip) Division. His commitment to seeking knowledge while remaining dedicated to the masjid has been a source of inspiration to the community.

Building on this spirit of service, the Indonesian Islamic Centre London welcomes Ardika Fajrul Ihsan, widely known as Fajrul, as the new Deputy Head of the Ibadah Division. A PhD researcher in Structural and Computational Immunology at University College London and a Postgraduate Teaching Assistant in the Division of Biosciences, Fajrul brings a thoughtful, disciplined approach shaped by both academic rigour and consistent community involvement.

Over the past year, Fajrul has been an active and dependable volunteer at IIC London – supporting Ramadan programmes, assisting with Eid prayers, and helping with the early setup of Jummah while the centre was still finding its rhythm. His calm presence, reliability, and quiet leadership have made him a familiar and trusted figure within the congregation.

In his new role, Fajrul will work closely with the Ibadah team to strengthen and support the centre’s worship activities, ensuring they remain well organised, welcoming, and spiritually uplifting for the wider community.

The Indonesian Islamic Centre London makes du’a that Allah grants him ease and wisdom in carrying this amanah, and that his service becomes a means of benefit for all who pass through the masjid.
